BEAL BROOKS, b. about 1796, d. about 1841, m. Sarah, daughter of Aaron and Elizabeth (Harris) Headen, daughter of Benjamin Harris, d. 1821. Aaron Headen was a son of John and Sarah Headen of Chatham County, N. C. Sarah Headen seems to have died prior to 1841 when their daughter, Elizabeth, was Execr. of the estate of Beal Brooks. Their heirs sold land inherited from the estate of their grandfather, Aaron Headen, on 6-27-1853. These heirs were
