Ruth & William Moseley lived in Henry Co., Georgia. He divorced her in 1861 by a jury of 12. (This info provided to me by Betty (Mrs. O.B.) McEwan who is a descendant of Ruth Bertha Brooks, 1129 So. Osceola, Orlando, FL, 32806. Phone # 407/422-8507. Betty grew up in Greensboro, GA. She lived in Hampton, GA first three years. She also is in the Adair line through Laura Elizabeth Adair.)[1]
She "spent her last years in the home of her daughter Mrs. Abram H.J. Peebles in Henry Co., secure in the comfort of her children's loyalty through her divorce and her husband's remarriage. She was buried in 1874 in the Peebles lot at Mt. Pleasant Methodist Episcopal Church west of Hampton."[2]
