Biography

John Brooks was born in Woburn, Massachusetts, on July 19, 1749, the son of Timothy Brooks and Ruth Wyman.^[1][2]

John Brooks died in Salem, Massachusetts, on April 22, 1796.^[1]

John Brooks married Abigail Richardson in 1771. John Brooks sister Ruth married John's brother Josiah, and Thomas Brooks, brother to both Ruth and John Brooks, married Mary Richardson, sister to Abigail and Josiah Richardson.^[3]

John and Abigail Brooks lived in Salem, she died May 1 1831.^[3]
