- Mrs. Emma Beavers of Hillsboro died Saturday (today) at 8 a.m. in a local hospital. She was 94.
- A native of Hillsboro, Mrs. Beavers married R.E. Beavers in 1890. Her preceded her in death. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.
- Included among the survivors are a sister, Mrs. C.W. Whitworth. Waco; three daughters, Mrs. Beulah Powers and Mrs. Montrue Borwn, both of Hillsboro and Mrs Eddie Grosdidier, Austin; two sons, Jute Beavers and Nick Beavers, both of Hillsboro; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
- There is another obituary in Waco Tribune-Herald (Texas), dated 7 May 1967.
