Abigail Brooks was born on April 6, 1735, in Winchester, New Hampshire to Nathaniel Brookes 24, and Abigail Allen, 17. She married Elisha Wells on January 9, 1754, in Greenfield, Massachusetts. They had four children during their marriage. She died on December 20, 1772, in Greenfield, Massachusetts, at the age of 37, and was buried in Hatfield, Massachusetts.
