Richard and Vashti lived in Madison County, Alabama untile 1833, when they moved to Tennessee. They lived there in Madison Co., and for a while in Haywood County. Martha being the oldest daughter, got married sometime when they lived in Tenn. They all moved to Texas in 1853. Richard owned a grcery store in Denmark, Tenn. One of his deeds apparently is describing a grocery store.
