Edith Mabel Annie Brooks was born on 4 June 1874 in Exeter, Ontario, Canada. Her parents were George and Elizabeth Brooks.[1][2]
Edith married Charles Blair Gordon in 1897. They had three sons: George Blair, Charles Howard and John.[2]
She presumably became Lady Edith Gordon after her husband was knighted as Sir Charles Gordon.
Edith died on 8 Jan 1956.[2]
