Biography

George Thomas Brooks was born in 1858 in Middleton-by-Youlgreave, Derbyshire and was christened at the Church of St. Michael and All Angels there on 24 February 1859, the son of Edward Brooks and Mary (nee Stone) Brooks[1][2]

At the time of the 1861 Census George Thomas is living with his parents and siblings in Hill Side, Middleton-by-Wirksworth, Derbyshire[3]

At the time of the 1871 Census George Thomas is living with his parents and siblings in The Field, Middleton-by-Wirksworth, Derbyshire[4]
