Born Jaenette Brookshire. Legal name Nettie Hatfield.

So at her death in 1952, she still has 2 sons still living: Dewey Admiral Toler & Robert Luther Hatfield. It is not known why they are not mentioned in the obituary.

I came across her grave accidentally while trying to find my ggg grandfather, her 1st husband, Andy Toler.

My family has handed down info over the years saying that she moved here with a son, George. There is no record of his father. Later a document was found to list his father's name as Lark Brown, but it also lists his mother's last name as (Nettie) Ernest, which is not correct.

There is a marriage record for 25 Dec 1892, license date appears to be the 15th in Kings Creek, Caldwell North Carolina. Then Andy brings her back to Mingo Co, WV.

She later marries the infamous Johnse Hatfield and has one son with him.
