A son (no forename recorded) of Abraham Brown and Ann (Stratford) Brown was born on 18 Jan 1838 at Cricklade St Sampson, Wiltshire.[1][2]

Joseph Brown, son of Abraham, Labourer, and Ann, was baptised on 25 Feb 1838 at Cricklade St Sampson, Wiltshire.[3]

He married Fanny Sopp in Q4 1859 in the District of Highworth, Wiltshire.[4] Joseph Brown age 21, bachelor, Labourer, married Frances Sopp age 22, spinster, by Banns on 08 Oct 1859 at the Parish Church of Swindon (Christ Church), Wiltshire. Father's name was Abraham Brown, Sawyer.[5]

  • Frederick Joseph Brown (born 1862)[7]
