Salome Brown was born on Jan. 5, 1775 to Henry (Heinrich Braun) Brown and Maria Salome Hoerner.[1]
She married Conrad Flaugher, son of Christian and Margaret Flaugher, on Nov. 29, 1798. They became the parents of 9 children; Elizabeth, Catherine, Henry, Salome, Jacob, Hannah, John, Anna and Lydia.
Salome Flaugher died Dec. 6, 1840 in Mahoning Township, Lawrence, Pennsylvania. She is buried at Hillsville United Methodist/Baptist Cemetery in Hillsville, Pennsylvania.[2]
