So this merge was completed but I know certain areas did not match up and there is not a research section to see what was in disagreement so I can source and address it. The sources I added were placed under Acknowledgments and the Acknowledgments I had are deleted so I am trying to correct what I can but if we can't communicate as a community then why proceed with working a profile that will only be debated?
Brown-92320 and Brown-16603 appear to represent the same person because: These profiles all need work and this was the only one orphaned so I adopted it to expedite these corrections and finding correct familial connections. The earlier profile that correlates to Findagrave doesn't make sense that this couple had a child in Randolph, NC because they never settled there and there are no documents of their son Michael moving to Ohio as it and this other profile have printed. I have added several sources and need more but didn't want to formulate a biography with these merges pending. If you feel certain about the profile then perhaps we can check for different parents? I would love to have help from a project manager who is in control over a large number of these duplicates. Thanks in advance! Becky
I've found an orphaned profile for 1 of the three Michael Brown's connected to the same parent's so I am going to adopt it, clear out some of the mess and propose a merge so that we can get our family profiles back together. When I send it I'll add any notes so you can let me know if it is okay with you...posting this to all triplicate profiles. Cheers! Becky
I adopted a profile and connecting dots led me here. Find a grave has convincing evidence that Michael Brown is Shamback's son, but birth date is 1774, which can't be correct, and so uh oh I have either created duplicate Michael or this is different person.
