According to the source that follows, which I have not further confirmed, Hannah Hubbard was the first wife of Cap. John (7) Brown, bp. Salem, Mass., 1: 3: 1642, son of Elder John (1) Brown of Salem. See "Descendants of Elder John Brown of Salem," _Essex Antiquarian_ 13:147. http://hdl.handle.net/2027/mdp.39015030567203

There are 12 children reported to this Salem chap in the article. Only five appear born (or baptized, sigh) prior to his second marriage.

Note: Note: Great Migration article about James Brown(e) early of Charlestown, does not report his son John Brown(e) married Hannah Hubbard.
