DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Joseph by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Joseph:
All the records I've seen about this John Browne, his father John Browne Jr., and his grandfather John Browne Sr. spell the name with an "e" at the end of "Browne". It would appear the best solution would be to merge Brown-1784 into Browne-1000, with Browne-1000 as the final ID. If there are records with it spelled "Brown", that alternate spelling could be added to the "other names" field.
