Julia Thompson married John Brown on October 16, 1872, in Williamson, Tennessee. In 1880, John L. Brown was 44 years old and lived in Calvin, Kansas with his wife, Julia, son, and 2 daughters. They had 13 children in 22 years. In 1900, he was 64 years old and lived in Center, Kansas with his wife, Julia, 3 sons, and 2 daughters.[1]
