Roger was born in 1922. He is the son of Walter Brown and Ruby Carter.[2]
According to the 1940 Census, Roger lived with his parents in Germania, Todd, Minnesota and worked for the railroad.
In 1993, Roger lived in La Mesa, California.[3]
Roger was a WWII veteran who proudly served his country overseas in Panama, Italy and Okinawa. He served as a flight engineer in the Army/Air Corps and retired from the California Air National Guard. He was a retiree of General Dynamics Convair in San Diego, CA where he worked as an aircraft mechanic helping to build airplanes and space shuttles. He also worked on missiles in Kansas and New York.[4]
He was buried next to his second wife, Mickey Yoshida Brown, in Moran-Riverside Cemetery, Todd County, Minnesota, USA.[5]
