Stanley W. Brown, 67, of Mapleton, ME passed away Friday, December 16, 2005, at his residence.

He was born in Trenton, NJ on May 13, 1938 the son of William R. and Frances (Vittila) Brown. Mr. Brown worked as a long haul truck driver for many years, and acquired many friends in New Jersey and throughout the country. He retired and moved to Maine in October 2004. Stanley was an avid hunter and fisherman and participated in a Moose hunt after moving to Maine. He also enjoyed fishing in Little Egg Harbor, NJ. Stanley was a member of Cornell Rod and Gun Club in Trenton and loved to race stock cars in his early years.

He is survived by his wife, Jane (Vandermark) Brown of Mapleton, ME; his mother Frances LoPresti and his step-father James of Trenton, NJ; two daughters and sons-in-law Terri and Mike Young of Trenton, NJ and Erica Lynn and Mike Keane of Cream Ridge, NJ; three grandsons William Frymire of Trenton, Jacob and Nicholas Keane of Cream Ridge, NJ; a brother Paul LoPresti of Trenton, NJ; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law Gilbert and Cathy Vandermark of Little Egg Harbor, NJ; a niece Jeanette Hoffman; and numerous cousins.

Funeral services will be held 10AM Thursday at the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11AM from St. Gregory the Great RC Church, 4620 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square.

Cremation will be private.

Relatives and friends may call 6-9PM Wednesday at the Colonial Home.

Contributions may be made in Mr. Brown’s memory to the American Cancer Society, 3076 Princeton Pike, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.
