Alexander Brown was born in 1838 in Mauchline, Ayrshire, Scotland[1]. His parents were Mungo Brown and Sarah Sloan. He married Sarah Scrimshaw on August 24, 1864[2].
He died on April 3, 1885 in Canowindra, New South Wales, Australia[3].
