Clyde was born in 1907, the son of James Brown and Mary Dent. His mother died 6 months after his birth, and his father remarried about 2 years later. Clyde married at least three times, divorcing twice. He had married and divorced his first wife (name unknown) by the time he was 23. He worked as a bookkeeper/accountant and was sent to Saudi Arabia by Arabian American Oil Company in 1950. Clyde passed away in 1973 at 66 years old.
