Biography

Charles Browne, of Stretton-en-le-Field, Derby, England, had a son and heir, John Browne of the same place, who married Magdalen, daughter of Anthony Grey, Earl of Kent; and “Winifred,” daughter of John Harper of Harperstone, Derby. John Browne died 17 May 1669.^[1]
