Biography
Little is known of the early history of Sarah Ann Brown who married Charles Phelps Snow in 1851 in Illinois although both were from upstate New York. Charles had emigrated to Illinois in 1840 with his parents and siblings. All of Sarah Ann's and Charles' nine children were born in Illinois and Sarah Ann died there in 1922.
