Biography

William Noah Brown was born 15 August 1841 in Wabash County, Indiana[1][2] to parents Joel Brown and Ann Gaisbrook. His nickname was Soddy.

William Brown married Mary Morrow.

At the time of the 1900 US Census, he was 59 years old, living with his wife and three kids (Frank, Finis and May) in Dilley, Oregon.[3]

By time of the 1910 census, he was living with his son Frank Brown and had been widowed.[4]

He passed away 16 October 1928 in Laurel, Oregon at the age of 87 and was buried in the Mount Olive Cemetery of Laurel in Laurel, Washington, Oregon.[1][5]
