She was born in the part of Rowan County NC that became Davie County in 1836.
She married James Lewis Adams (1834-1897) on 19 Feb 1861 in Davie Co. NC (marriage bond date). Her second husband was Marshall T. Bell (1833-1890), married 13 Oct 1884, Davie Co. NC. No children are known from either marriage.
