MIDDLETON - Mrs. Walter E. Welton, 49, died in Soldiers Memorial Hospital. Funeral Service was at the Tremont Baptist Church conducted by Rev. H. McCormick, Interment was in Tremont Cemetery.
Mrs. Welton was born at North Kingston, daughter of Arthur L. Brown. She was married at Meadowvale in 1946.
Mrs. Welton was a postal clerk for several years and later operated a canteen. She was treasurer in the Meadowvale Goodwill community club.
She is survived by her husband; son Gordon, her parents at Meadowvale; one brother, Clifford L., Meadowvale; one sister, Freda L. (Mrs. Alvin H. Foster), Meadowvale.
