Biography
Thomas Brown was born in India to John Brown and Martha Lawrence. Thomas' Father John was a Ship Captain and at that time the Captain's families travelled with him. This is most likely the reason for his birth in India. He is found at age 1 living with with parents on his Grandparents farm. I am unable to locate his death, however, it is before the 1891 Census where we find his parents and siblings living in Maitland, Hants County and Thomas is not listed.
