Elizabeth Brown was born on December 27, 1764 in Mecklenburg, Virginia, the child of William Brown and Elizabeth Shepherd. ^[1]

She died on June 7, 1839, in St Clairsville, Ohio, at the age of 73, and was buried there. [SOURCE NEEDED]

Research Notes

• Elizabeth Brown was named as the wife of William Hulse, an approved DAR patriot. ^[2]

• She should not be confused with Elizabeth Brown who married Shepherd Hulse in Belmont, Ohio in 1820. Her children were born years earlier.^[3]
