In 1871 Jane was living at Rose Street, Dunfermline with her grandmother and uncle. She was a Power Look Weaver.[2]
She married John Currie in 1873 but was widowed in 1882.
She married Archibald Oram on 31st December 1884 at Lumpinnans at the same time as her brother David married Isabella Dewar. She lived at Lumphinnans and was a factory worker.[3]
In 1901 Jane was living at 16 Main Street, Lochgelly with her husband Archibald, five of their children and two lodgers.[4]
