1900 census records show Emma Brown age 4 (b. May 1856) in New York, USA. She is the neice of Hiram B. Newton. The family is living in Huntley, McHenry County, Illinois, USA. Her father was born in Vermont, USA, and her mother was born in New York, USA. [1] She is currently added as daughter of Hiram Brown, which would seem to make her the cousin of Hiram B. Newton rather than niece. Perhaps there is a different relationship?
