Biography
History of Jackson Co Michigan 1881: Henry L Brown was born in this county, March 10 1842, son of Amos & Amanda (Strong supposed to be Stone) Brown and was reared on a farm. He was married April 6 1876 to Mary Austin, daughter of James & Amanda (Tyler) Austin. His father came to this county in 1833 from Niagra Co NY and settled on sec 3 Hanover Twp where he remained until his death Sept 15 1872.
