Daniel was age eleven when he moved to Greeneville, Tennessee, in 1804. In 1811, he was age eighteen when he moved to Harrison County, Indiana. He married Catherine Breeden there on June 4, 1818, and they had: 1) Joseph on March 12, 1819 2) Elizabeth on January 5, 1820 3) Bryant on October 25, 1822 4) Christina on November 29, 1824 5) George on January 12, 1827 6) Frederick on February 18, 1829 7) Alfred on November 10, 1830 8) William Davis on September 27, 1833

The family moved a few miles west to land they bought in Crawford County and there had: 9) John Loop on October 23, 1835 10) David on October 7, 1837 11) Daniel James on June 16, 1840 12) Martha Catherine on January 2, 1843

Daniel died in 1850 and Catherine wed Joseph Heath on April 7, 1853. She later moved to Densmore, Kansas to be with some of her children and died there. She is buried in West Union Cemetery as Heath.     Family links:   Parents:
