Ellen was born in 1864. She was the daughter of William Brown (bef.1825-1870) and Dorothy Middleton (abt.1832-1874) ^[1]

In her first marriage, Sarah Ellen Brown [30] married Eli Mortimor in NSW in 1894 at Molong. ^[2]

Husband Eli died in the same year ^[3]

She married again age 33 Jack McGaw in 1897 at Peak Hill. ^[4]

She passed away in 1945 aged 81 ^[5]

She is buried at Peak Hill Cemetery with husband John ^[6]
