Biography
William Edwin Brown was born in February 1912. [1] He was the the eldest son of Frank Brown &Ellen Hawes
William emigrated to Australia at the age of 16. He sailed on the 'Esperance Bay' from London, the ship arrived in Sydney on the 10th August 1928, where William disembarked. I have copies from the National Archives of Australia detailing the ships passenger list.
It is believed that William moved on to Melbourne and possibly married Alice Talbot. Earlier attempts by the family to contact William were unsuccessful. Recent information confirms the marriage of William to Alice Talbot in 1941 at Victoria. Any further information would be gratefully received.
