Second husband Hiram Robbins (1829-1855), married in Oct 1852.[9] They had one son William E. Robbins.
Third marriage was to George Washington Cheek(1823-1859), they married in 1858.[10] George died in Christian Co IL in 1859. They had one son Stephen A. Cheek. At their marriage, George Cheek had two surviving children by previous marriages: Elizabeth & Josiah Cheek.
She married Armstead Morris about 1861. They moved to Rawlins County Kansas in 1879. Her husband Armstead names the settlement Achilles after his father and grandfather.[11] Armstead Morris becomes the first Postmaster of Achilles, KS.[12] Polly Ann and Armstead divorced in 1885.[13]
"Polly Ann Morris died at her home two and one-half miles northeast of Achilles just as the sun went down, November 8, after an illness of only a few days of pneumonia fever, aged 81 years, 5 months and 13 days.
Aunt Ann, as she was familiarly called, was born in Ohio, and lived for a number of years in Sangamon county, Illinois. The last 29 years were spent in Rawlins county, Kansas. She has lead an active life, having lived alone for several years, doing most of her work. She united with the M. E. church when she was fifiteen years of age, and always clung to her hope of life eternal. She gave evidence in her last hours that she was happy and satisfied with her faith. She was attended in her last illness by her son, S. D. Cheek and wife; her niece, Mrs. C. Benepe and her daughter-in-law, Mrs. L. A. Robbins. Also numerous friends did all they could to relieve her, but her work was done; the key was turned that unlocks the door to the other shore.
The funeral services were conducted by Rev. J. M. Mumford at the Achilles school house. Interment was made at Achilles cemetery."[14]
A family tree on FamilySearch.org shows that Polly's fourth huband Armstead Morris had 2 marriages. A "Mary Ann Check" in 1855, and "Polly Ann Brown" in 1861. Wikitree.com has a Mary Ann Cheek married to Armistead Morris, so it is possible he had only 1 wife and Polly Ann Brown and Mary Ann Cheek/Check may need to be merged once that is proven.
