Note: Records say that James Brown lived in England. His son, Jesse Brown, was born in England, came to Early County, Georgia, and is buried in the Cedar Springs Cemetery, along with his wife, Delilah (Delaney) Alston. They had 9 daughters. Jesse Brown was one of three Revolutionary War soldiers from the county. He came from England to Virginia, then to Tennessee, Alabama, then Early County.
