According to Anna (Brown) Neff's Tombstone at the Monroe United Methodist Church Cemetery in Shelby County, Iowa, she died on 10 August, 1882 when she was 72 years, 5 months and 12 days. This would mean she was born on 29 February, 1810.

From Find A Grave: Anna Brown was the daughter of Samuel A. Brown and Jane Ripley. When her father died her mother remarried Gideon Burdick.
