Biography

MARY C BROWN Garner 1845-1871

Mary C Brown was born on the 18th of August 1845 in Indiana the daughter of Irbin Henry Brown 1822-1886 and his wife, Mary Elizabeth Ormsley Brown 1822-1879.

  • 8 - Otto "Ott" DeWilbur Brown 1856-1881
  • 9 - Josephine Brown 1859-1860
  • 10- Oliver Perry Morton Brown 1862-1931
  • 11- William "Will" G. Brown 1867-1893

Mary C Brown married Clifton Garner on the 5th of November 1866 in Johnson County, Indiana.

Mary C and Clifton Garner were the parents of:

  • 1 - Carrie Garner
  • 2 - George W Garner
  • 3 - John E Garner

Mary C BROWN Garner died on the 20th of March 1871 and the young age of 25. She was buried in the Salem Cemetery where many family members are interred. Salem Cemetery is located in Bluff Creek, Johnson County, Indiana. I went there and took photos of most of our Brown family members.
