Biography

David Brown ... Served in thr Medical Corps in World War I. He was a member of the Free Methodist Church. He workedworked at Fountain Feed Mill, Fountain, CO. He passed away about 1975.[1]

Papa Dave, as we grandchildren knew him, raised Chickens, rabbits, and goats. We sometimes ate the prior two for Sunday dinners and drank goats milk occasionally. He wore bib overalls, worked at a feed mill, and drove an ancient pickup truck. He could fix anything or grow anything in their huge garden.

Dave had married my grandmother during the depression and became Papa to her five children, including my mother.
