John was in an 1845 family history regarding his marriage to Abigil Walter and her subsequent marriage to Warren Rusco in 1852 after John's death in 1845.^[2]

John and his wife, Abigail and their children (Joseph W, Abraham Brown and Mary Louisa Brown) was recorded in a church event on 19 April 1845 in Chester, Pennsylvania requesting "admittance" to New Garden MM from Chesterfield MM.^[3]

John died (age 31) on 4 October 1845 in Pennsylvania.^[4]
