Timothy Brown was born December 18, 1724 at Weston, son of Deacon Benjamin and Anna (Garfield) Brown and was christened at the age of 7 weeks on February 7, 1724/5. [1][2][3]
He married Rebecca Farrar, intentions published November 25, 1749. [1][4] Rebecca was born at Concord on January 18, 1728/9, daughter of George and Mary (Barrett) Farrar. [5][6][2][3]
He died intestate and on November 22, 1768, widow Rebecca Brown was allowed as executrix of his estate, with Samuel Farrar and Humphrey Farrar providing bond. [7]
The inventory presented on December 12, 1768, showed personal and household items as well as livestock and food stores valued at L103. 14 .10. His real estate included the dwelling house and barn, 90+ acres and a mill house valued at L 431 .0 .0. [7]
On April 8, 1773, the court appointed commission revalued and set off the estate, widow Rebecca receiving one third as per the court, then valued at L180. 9. 10. Their decision was that the remaining two thirds, to be left to the surviving children, could not be divided without 'spoiling the whole' and granted eldest son Timothy remainder, valued at L369. 19. 8. [7]
Named in the final division, in June, 1774, with eldest son Timothy distributing the following to:
widow Rebecca to receive an equal share of the inheritance of daughter Rebecca, deceased
brothers George and Elijah, L57 2s each, on or before June 28, 1778
sisters Mary and Keziah L57 2s each, 'when they come of lawful age or at marriage' [7]

George born March 9, 1757; died March 23, 1757. [4]
