Amos Brown was born on September 18, 1738 in Cambridge, Middlesex County, Massachusetts Bay Colony, son of Ebenezer Brown and Abigail (Adams) Brown.

Amos married Anna Sanderson on January 21, 1762 in Waltham, Middlesex County, Massachusetts. [3] [4]
