Biography
Jane was baptised on 4 April 1813 in Ayr, Ayr, Scotalnd. She was the daughter of James Brown and Rebecca (Morrison) Brown.
John at his marriage in Fintray it said he was a Farmer in Hatton and Jane Brown both of this parish. [1]
Research Notes
I can find nothing to support her birth in Ayrshire - no census. Also young (but legal) at marriage at 16. John Allen born in Cambuslang but a farmer in Fintray. This family needs more research The death entered was estimated. Nothing found in a search but have left it there.
