Biography

A Find A Grave memorial claims that Elizabeth Brown was born 12 Feb 1670. There is no birth or baptismal record in New Haven for Elizabeth Brown on this date,[1][2] or in any other town in Connecticut.

Born about 1670, in New Haven, New Haven, Connecticut.[3] is based on her aproximated marriage and placement after known brother Daniel b. in 1668.

The daughter of Eleazer and Sarah (Bulkeley) Brown, she was married three times:[3]

  • Married (1) Michael Todd, before 12 February 1690/91, the birth of dtr. Elizabeth. Michael passed away before his inventory 2 April 1713. Administration of Michael Todd's estate was granted to his widow Elizabeth. Their children were named in the probate documents.[4]
  • Married (2) Samuel Street on 20 Dec 1716 in Wallingford, Connecticut. Administration of his estate was granted 18 Feb 1719/20[4]
  • Married (3) John Merriman who survived her

She died before John Merriman made his will, 15 May 1740. John lived in Wallingford, so Elizabeth probably died there.
