Mary Healey -- Anderson (Great Migration) designates Mary Healey as the wife of Thomas Brown and mother of his children. Saying they were married at Christian Malford, Wiltshire, 20 August 1632. Francis 1st son of Thomas & Mary was bpt. 1 Jan. 1632/3.
Mary Endoe -- The Wiltshire Parish Registers Marriages V.5 contain the marriage of Thomas Browne & Mary Endoe 29 June 1631 at Salisbury (St. Thomas). Francis was born April 15, 1632. This has resulted in many internet sites using this marriage as parents of Francis of Newbury.
Options.
Thomas married both, the first dying shortly. (check burial registers for both parishes in Wiltshire.)
Two separate couples (check the birth registers at St. Thomas for children baptized to Thomas there.. the presence of different children at St. Thomas parish, would prove there were two couples.) If they both had children named Francis, we're back at the beginning.
Two Couples: Thomas (not Francis) Browne, son of Thomas and Mary, bpt 15 Apr 1632 at Saint Thomas, Salisbury, Wiltshire, England[1]

Death of a different Francis
Death after 1707, was sourced by History and Genealogy of the Families of Old Fairfield, with Additions and Corrections, Volume: 2 pp 105/6 by Jacobus, Donald Lines. Genealogical Publishing Co., Inc., Baltimore, Maryland, 1991, Original Date, 1930-1932. The pertinent pages are actually in Volume 1 and refer to an entirely different Francis Brown, who was of Stamford, Connecticut, about 1656. His children, Mary, Joseph, Rebecca, Sarah and Mercy, were born in about the same time frame as those of Francis Brown of Newbury. They are not the same man.
He had by sec. w. Benjamin, 22 Apr. 1681, whose mother is not named in the birth record.[2]

However, there are no known yDNA test-takers in his direct paternal line.
Mitochondrial DNA test-takers in the direct maternal line:
Brown-22086 and Browne-1743 are not ready to be merged because: Even tho everything else matches, further research needs to be performed to determine the correct locations of birth and death before merging. Otherwise we may be perpetuating an incorrect location if we merge the wrong one. It's better to leave the question open until a confirmed decision can be made.
According to Anderson's Great Migration, Francis was baptized January 1, 1632/3 at Christian Malford, Wiltshire, England, to parents Thomas Brown and Mary Healy. Great Migration 1634-1635, A-B. While the wife, father & children appear to be the same, the birth place is in two different countries and the place of death is in two separate states. The names of the two mothers are different and just may be due to a previous marriage but until we have more definitive proof of some of the differences I feel that it would be more judicious to leave them as an unmerged match for now.
Browne-1743 and Brown-22086 appear to represent the same person because: These two profiles are clearly meant to be the same person. The immigrant to Newbury Mass. They have two separate mothers, but I think this is a case of disconnect one of the mothers (I would choose to disconnect Mary Endoe) or both, merge the two profiles and agree to disagree.
Brown-22086 and Browne-1743, are probably the same person. Neither birth has a good source. Death place is not known although more likely to be Newbury. They have the same wife and the same children although -1743 has a couple of extra children. You should decide on an LNAB and merge.
