Charles Hugh Linsday married Emelia Anne Browne at St Werburgh's, Dublin, Ireland on 24th April 1851.[1][2] The newspapers reported that the marriage was solemnized in the Chapel Royal, Dublin between Captain the Honourable Charles Lindsay, Grenadier Guards, son of the Earl of Crawford and Balcarres, and aide-de-camp to the Right Hon. General Sir Edward Blakeney, and Miss Emily Browne, daughter of the Hon. and Very Rev. the Dean of Lismore and niece of Lord Kilmaine. The service was conducted by Emily's father. It was also stated that they left for Beau Park in the county of Meath for their honeymoon.[3]

Death
Emilia died on 15th February 1873 at Villa Jaume, Nice, France.[6] The newspaper notice stated she was 46 years old and that her husband, was MP for Abingdon. She was buried at St Mary's, Hendon, Middlesex on 26th February 1873.[7]
