Even though Martha Farrington is mentioned in John's will, she is not listed as a daughter in this profile.

Here's a published secondary source on the Brown genealogy of Reading which addresses the two separate Reading, Mass. Brown(e) families from England:

Whitney, Charles Carrell, (1832-) "Some Brown genealogy; being some of the descendants of John Brown, one of the early settlers of Reading, Mass." pub 1897. E-book in the public domain at: https://archive.org/details/somebrowngenealo00whit/page/n10/mode/1up/search/early+reading%2C+middlesex%2C+massachusetts?q=early+reading%2C+middlesex%2C+massachusetts

Christopher Childs posted note on John Brown 3027 re: incorrect merge of two separate men named John Brown/Browne. "PMs and TL members please note: the merged profiles (last July) of Brown-1129 and Brown-3027 were actually of two different John Brown(e)s of Reading, MA; their distinct death records can be found on FamilySearch, and their respective wills are visible (by subscription) on NEHGS (americanancestors.com). Brown-3027, as shown in this profile, lived from 1634 to 1717. Brown-1129 lived from 1628 to 1714. Brown-1129 cannot be recreated, but as it turns out, the same individual is represented on WikiTree as Browne-2283. [At least one merge will be needed in the next generation; it is going to take a little time to sort out the legitimate Brownes and Browns.] Please assist in ensuring that these two John Brown(e)s of Reading are not again confused in future. Thanks.
