I am advised that it was common to marry that early (14) in those days.

Now that I have amended the baptism date of daughter Mary to 1583, making Dorothy the firstborn in 1577, I think it all fits now?

The Bio of her spouse would clearly state a marriage on or before 1577, which would line up with the four children. Either way, yes, the PM ought to decide what to do about this.

I may have caused confusion last year by changing the marriage date from 1590 to 'before 1577', based on what appeared to be the birthdate of the first daughter. I should have spotted that it would have made her age 14 at marriage. But I look again at the evidence, and:-

I see at the moment (1) Dorothy: is unsourced here, but she was baptised at Wing on 20 May 1577 (2) Mary: looks like her baptism was most probably the one in Wing register in November 1583, (3) Magdalen: baptism in 1579 (4) William: baptism 1580.

Perhaps she really was married at 14 - probably legal in those days.

It appears the first three children do not belong, the next two are referenced in the fathers Bio and would be plausible, along with the last child. I believe that lacking any other evidence the first three should be unlinked.

Also the marriage, by some sources, occurred in 1590. Perhaps we should leave it up to the profile manager to make a decision.

Browne-7079 and Browne-2306 appear to represent the same person because: Potential duplicate?

Something has gone wrong here. Elizabeth Browne now gives birth to a string of children starting at the age of ten! Was this merge correct?
