William Butler married Ann Brown in 1633 in Greasley, Nottinghamshire [1]
Research Notes
Anne Butler was originally shown to have been born 27 Sep 1608 in Hawkedon, Suffolk, England, then to have married William Butler as above, and finally to have died 27 Sep 1688 in Watertown, Middlesex, Massachusetts Bay.
She is also said to have been the daughter of John Browne who was not born until 1626.
Half of this story (Suffolk/Massachusetts) appears in an unsourced tree at ancestry.com [2], but this does not include the marriage to William Butler nor the children.
It would appear that two people, one sourced, one speculation, have become conflated here.
The Nottinghamshire version has been separated from the American emigrant.
