Biography
Archibald never married.
He is presumed to be the Archibald Broyles buried at Pleasant Hill Methodist Church on Horse Creek in Greene County, Tennessee. (Archibald is a rare name, and the other Archibald Broyles of nearby Washington Co. lived past 1900.) His tombstone has the inscription "Co. E 4th Tenn. Inf.",indicating his service in the Civil War.
