Biography

Thomas Broyles was the son of Zacharias Broyles and Delilah Clore. He made the move from Madison County, Virginia, to Mercer County, Kentucky, in 1811 or so.

Keith[1] seems unaware of the name of his first wife, Polly Taylor. His second wife, first cousin Lucy Broyles, was the daughter of John Broyles, a man who was murdered in Culpeper County, Virginia, when she was just a tot.

Thomas lived most of his life in Mercer (now Boyle) County, on Doctor's Fork of Chaplin River. Late in life he moved to Pike County, Indiana.
