Biography
Alexander is named in the Keith manuscript as a son of Isaac Broyles and Keziah Blackmore but there is no further information. We find a census entry for A. Broyles in Cherokee County, Alabama, in 1860 close to Keziah. It show that Alexander married a woman named Delilah and had two sons:
- William C., b. 1851
- James F., b. 1852
